The climate here is said to be ideal, it ranges between 20-30˚C so is warm but can become very humid, typical of the tropics. The climate creates the perfect habitats for wildlife such as the 130 million year old rain forest. There are 200 species of mammal, 200 species of fish and over 8000 species of flowering plants in this ecosystem. They have many protective wild life sanctuaries that make it possible to observe the animals without damaging their habitat.
